According to the spokesperson SNGPL''s teams mobilized for repair work just after the incident and Compressor Stations installed at ACIX-Qadirpur (Bhong), ACIX-Sui (Bhong), AC4 (Uch Sharif), AC6 (Multan) and AC0 (Sui) were shutdown.
He also said that in order to cater the emergent conditions, gas supplies to industrial, fertilizer and power sectors in Punjab province have been discontinued under Force Majeure conditions. He said that due to blast fire was erupted at site which has been controlled now. The damaged pipeline has been isolated promptly to contain the situation and for onward rehabilitation. He also said that repair work has been initiated at site, which is expected to be completed by midnight if any unforeseen condition doesn''t arise.
